Our Year 11 students are now on the final straight of their time with the College and they will be moving onto the next phase of their time in employment, education or training.
All students, except specific students identified for early study leave, are expected in school full time for the initial few weeks of the exams. This is to enable the school to support the students more effectively as they become accustomed to the process. During this time students will either be in a scheduled examination or will attend their normal timetabled lessons where they will be supported to prepare for any future exams. This preparation may be for that timetabled subject, as that exam has not taken place yet, or for another subject that is imminent. In these cases, staff will support the students to revise and prepare.
The final day for Year 11 in school and start of Examination Study Leave is Friday 23rd May 2025. All students will be in school for an examination on the morning of Friday 23rd May. The day will end with the usual Year 11 Leavers Assembly and Awards. Year 11 students will then not be expected in school unless they have an examination. Areas will be provided for students to work in both the morning or afternoon if they have to rely on school transport to attend or leave.
Year 11 Prom: Wednesday July 2nd 2025
Exam results Day: Thursday 21st August 2025
Results will be available to be collected from the school from 9.30am to 12 noon. Any results not collected on the day will be posted to the address we have on file for the student.
In the run up to the examinations the College will continue to work hard to ensure that all students are able to achieve the best grades that they can and that they are all able to progress smoothly onto the next stages of education, employment or training.
Thank you for your continued support as the school prepares your child / children for their examinations.
