Our Attendance Policy holds at its core the fact that every child has a fundamental right to be educated, and that parents and teachers have a duty to ensure maximum attendance at college. Excellent attendance throughout their schooling will give your child the best possible foundations for their next steps.

The college and EWO always endeavour to work with students and parents at an early stage to resolve attendance issues. However, the EWO also has a legal role and if other means of resolving attendance have failed, then as a last resort officers will follow a legal process.

There are times when parents may wish to contact the EWO directly for further advice.
