You can also purchase uniform from the School Shop that is situated in the College main reception area, for details of what is available in the School Shop please speak to Miss Fialho. If your child/children are entitled to Free School Meals or are registered as Pupil Premium, you are entitled to support in purchasing the school uniform. Please contact the College and ask to speak to Mrs Newbold for further details.
Our students are ambassadors of College and are expected to dress and behave in a way that reflects the standards we seek to achieve. Under no circumstances will we tolerate styles which reflect current fashions. Please support us in ensuring that your child always wears the correct uniform in line with our policy. Uniform checks are carried out on a regular basis and any infringements to the uniform code will be expected to be remedied quickly.
PLEASE ENSURE THAT ALL CLOTHING AND PERSONAL BELONGINGS ARE CLEARLY MARKED WITH YOUR NAME.
Black Blazer with embroidered College emblem. This should be worn at all times unless permission has been given for the blazer to be removed.
White open necked Cotton shirt/Blouse to be tucked in.
Plain black V neck sweater with red College emblem.
Plain black knee length regulation skirt or plain black regulation trousers or black regulation shorts.
School trousers should be plain black, loose fitting with a straight leg with a front fastening. They should have a single button at the waist and a concealed zip. Jeans-style/stretch, denim fabrics, leggings or “hipster” style are not acceptable. See pictorial examples for guidance.
School skirts should be plain black knee length skirts that are appropriate for work in terms of material, style and length. Skirts should be straight and not tightly tailored or of a stretchy ‘lycra’ type material. Splits should be of an appropriate length for school. See pictorial examples for guidance.
Sensible black shoes (not boots). We will not allow high, narrow heels (no heels higher than 1 inch), sling backs, mules or other shoes that we judge to be unsuitable for school.
No trainers of any type or style are acceptable other than for sports activities. Fabric material or canvas shoes (e.g. pumps) are not acceptable. If a doctor recommends trainers instead of shoes, they should be totally black and a doctor’s note should be provided.
Black socks or tights.
Black belts.
Outdoor Wear: Genuine outdoor coat, waterproof or fleece with full zip (without large logo on back or front) may be worn, but should be removed in the classroom. No hoodies this includes hoodies that zip up the front. Denim jackets are also not permitted.
Make-up and Jewellery: One pair of ear studs is allowed (one in each ear). One watch is permitted. No other jewellery, facial piercing, or wrist bands are to be worn. Makeup must be kept to a minimum and nail varnish is not permitted. Students will be asked to remove excessive make-up, false eyelashes and false nails.
Hair: No extremes of hairstyle please. If you are unsure you should contact the school to check before changing the style. All students are asked to wear their hair off the face in practical activities or whenever asked to do so for safety reasons. Hair should be tied back with a simple band or slide. No other head attire or hat is permitted other than that required for religious reasons.

All jewellery should be removed for PE lessons and long hair should be tied back. It is the students responsibility to bring a hair tie.
It is strongly advised that students wear a gumshield when participating in hockey lessons.
It is also recommended that students bring a bottle of water to their PE lessons.
